Author's Interests... my interests... hmmmm....

I am interested in life and traditions. I love farming and all that goes with it. When I say farming... I'm not talking about 600 acres of corn... I mean a farm in the sense that it sustains the family living there. A farm that raises sheep, cows among other livestock to provide food for a family in addition to a nice sized garden offering fresh vegetables of all sorts of varieties. We raise animals for meat... and I might add that they have an amazing life until it is time for them to serve their next purpose. We also have dairy animals... a jersey cow named Cookie and a nubian goat named Olive. They provide us with milk for cheese, yogurt, ice cream and the like. We have chickens, turkeys and ducks for eggs. There is so much involved with running a family farm and I admit to loving every single moment of it!
