Note from the author - N.J. Sparks
Ever since I can remember I have loved to write. I started the
currently published book 'A Choice to Survive' just after graduation
from DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona. I was still used to the
three hours of sleep per night and the long evenings working on the
computer. I started fooling around with an idea of a woman driven to
survive in the face of terrorism on United States soil or even worse...
Global Thermonuclear War! Caley (meaning Brave Warrior) decides to
build a bomb shelter safe for nuclear, biological or chemical attack.
Research and planning create strain on her relationship but in the end
draw the family very close together. Despite obstacles from neighbors
who are determined to stop the building of the bomb shelter, Caley and
her family finish the project. Celebration of family and friends over
Labor Day weekend turns into the ultimate test of teamwork and love as
the Wells' family faces their 'Choice to Survive'!
